
Michael Dean (Tonya)
Lead Pastor
Michael and Tonya have been married for almost 33 years and have served together in full-time pastoral ministry for 30 years. This has been an especially joyful season as their family welcomed two wonderful daughters through marriage. Together, they enjoy spending time with their growing family and opening their home to others.
Michael serves as Lead Pastor at Kaufman Church, as a Regional Pastor with the Evana Network, and on the Ministry Relations Team for Freedom in Christ Ministries. He also enjoys driving for Bible2School and serving as a backup driver for MLacker Transportation. Tonya is a registered nurse who enjoys investing in women's ministry, baking, and extending hospitality to friends and family.
Michael is passionate about seeing lives transformed as people embrace God's truth, experience the freedom Christ offers, and live on mission for His Kingdom.

Steven & Dawn Fassnacht
Ministers of Worship & Youth
Steven and Dawn bring years of experience in music, teaching, worship leadership, and worship technology. Steven teaches band and Bible at Johnstown Christian School, and Dawn teaches band and math at Shanksville. They love God, enjoy helping others learn to worship Him, and have a heart for ministering to children and youth. We are grateful to have them on the Kaufman ministry team.

Marcia Yoder (Dan)
Secretary
Dan and Marcia both have servant hearts. Marcia is a retired schoolteacher who enjoys helping the church function well. When she is not in the office, she and Dan enjoy visiting church members and grandchildren and helping wherever there is a need.

Stephanie Van Sickel (Tim)
Secretary
Stephanie is retired from the corporate world and now shares her gifts as one of our secretaries. She and her husband, Tim, enjoy traveling and sharing the gospel in word and deed. Stephanie also serves with Bible2School, coordinates home meals, and joins Tim in preparing nutritious meals for our youth on Sunday evenings.

Kim Showalter (Glen)
Minister of Congregational Care
Kim and her husband, Glen, have been part of the Kaufman Church family for many years and are the parents of three adult daughters. As Minister of Congregational Care, Kim helps cultivate a church family marked by Christ-centered care, meaningful relationships, and the transforming hope of Jesus Christ.
Working alongside our ministry leaders, Kim encourages pathways of truth, prayer, discipleship, freedom ministry, and compassionate care that help people take their next step with Christ. Whether walking with someone through grief, crisis, or a season of spiritual growth, she desires to help people encounter God's truth, respond in faith, and experience lasting transformation while building a church community where no one has to walk alone.

Linda Clawson
Minister of Education
Linda serves as our Minister of Education and helps teach the Hummingbirds Sunday School class. She stays busy with her full-time nursing career and caring for her home. Linda lives with her brother and her two lively cats. She has two married children and two grandchildren.

Tim Van Sickel (Stephanie)
Minister of Mission and Outreach
Tim and Steph love life and sharing the gospel. Tim works full time as a contractor and enjoys writing in his free time. He has written a series of novels and weaves his faith into each one. Tim and Steph also enjoy serving in fellowship ministry and youth ministry.

Martha Miller (Mark)
Prayer Ministry
Martha and Mark have a heart for mission. When they are not traveling in their motorhome to serve, Martha helps coordinate our prayer ministry. Retired from dairy farming, they now use their time to expand God's Kingdom wherever He leads.

Kathy Keafer (Adrian)
Minister of Administration
Kathy and Adrian have three adult children and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren. Kathy also teaches online at Liberty University and advocates for Christian education at the state and federal levels.

Mark Cable (Wendy)
Congregational Board Chair
Mark and Wendy have three grown daughters, three sons-in-law, and two grandchildren, all of whom reside in Virginia. Mark is retired from operating heavy equipment and currently owns an automotive repair shop.
